In the report, the circle and pillars were not included in the load calculations since they are accessories that do not attach to the bridge.
Not illustrated in CADs
The CAD images do not show the carved center message box with LED inlaid and epoxy resin pour over, or colorful hand painted translucent, stained glass-like paintings that will go on the acrylic panels in the temple. Currently images just show how the sun will shine through the colors.
The motif of the paintings will be based on chrysalis (symbolizing the cycle of life, death, and rebirth in transformation), paintings of colorful cocoons, in a colorful environment
Chrysalis Motif Paintings
These paintings are over 10+years old, but carry the same motif of chrysalis. The life/death/rebirth cycle is expressed as paintings on the acrylic panels to create colored reflections by the sunlight on the bridge, and to highlight death as a transformative experience.
When I got my degree in art, my final show included mural sized paintings 24'x10'. This one is an in-progress painting and is 24"x48", acrylic paint on canvas, 2013. It does not illustrate the layered transparency that will be characteristic of painting "glass paint" onto acrylic panels.
This painting is 24x36", made with acrylic paint on canvas in 2008,. I donated it to PBS for a fundraiser.

Things that have already changed
-no more totems, instead walkway panels
-additions: carvings for lotus floor, two circles, & message box
-decor changes: pillar designs and handpainting on acrylics
